How do banks actually do KYC?
In the branch, in the official app or through a video-KYC the bank itself schedules. Never through a link, a downloaded app or a call-back number.
The SMS looks like it came from my bank.
Check the sender: a genuine bank SMS comes from a six-character header (like VM-SBIBNK), never a mobile number. Even then, act only inside the official app.
