Refund Policy

1. Try before you pay

Our calculators, checkers, lookups and the Ask Vaani assistant are free. For most documents you also get a free, watermarked preview before you spend anything — please review it carefully, because it shows exactly what the paid copy will contain. Paying is what removes the watermark and unlocks the finished file or the hands-on service.

2. Instant documents, pitch decks and downloadable reports

These are delivered to you immediately after payment, so once the clean, watermark-free file has been generated and made available to your account, the fee is generally non-refundable — you have already received the finished digital product you previewed.

We will, of course, refund you when something genuinely goes wrong, such as:

• you were charged but the file never generated or could not be downloaded, and we can’t fix it
• you were charged twice for the same item (duplicate payment)
• a clear technical or billing error on our side

If a document has a genuine defect, tell us first — in most cases we can correct and regenerate it for you at no extra cost.

3. Reports and documents our team prepares for you

This covers done-for-you work such as CMA reports, project reports (DPRs), business plans, the Master Fundraising Kit and assisted packages, where our team reviews and prepares the deliverable.

• Cancel before we start work — full refund.
• After work has started — a partial refund that reflects the effort already spent.
• After the final deliverable has been shared — no refund, but if it doesn’t match the scope we agreed, we’ll revise it.

4. Registrations and government filings

For services like Udyam, GST, DPIIT, trademark, FSSAI, IEC, ISO and incorporation, our fee pays for preparing and filing your application and following it up.

• If you cancel before we file with the authority, we refund our service fee minus any work already done.
• Once your application has been filed, our service fee is non-refundable — the work is complete.
• Government and statutory fees (paid onward to the department) are not refundable by us.
• Approval is the government’s decision. A rejection or delay by the authority is not a ground for a refund of the government fee, though we’ll help you understand and respond to it.

5. Compliance subscriptions

Recurring plans (GST, TDS, payroll, ITR, ROC and Compliance Pro) are billed per period. You can cancel any time, and cancelling stops all future billing. The current period is non-refundable once we have begun that period’s filing work, since the service for that period has been delivered.

6. Expert consultations

You can reschedule or cancel a consultation up to 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund or a free reschedule. Cancellations within 24 hours, or missed appointments, are non-refundable.

7. How to request a refund

Email us at [email protected] with your order number and a short reason. We aim to reply within two working days. When a refund is approved, it goes back to your original payment method, usually within 5–7 working days depending on your bank or payment provider.

8. Chargebacks

Please talk to us before raising a dispute or chargeback with your bank — most issues are quicker to fix directly. Raising a chargeback without contacting us first may lead to your account being paused while we investigate with the payment provider.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services change. The version shown here, with the date above, is the one that applies. These refund terms sit alongside our Terms & Conditions.
