Questions
- When must a cheque bounce notice be sent?
- Under Section 138 the payee must send the demand within 30 days of receiving the bank's return memo, and the drawer then has 15 days to pay. The generator checks your dates against these windows.
- Does the notice need an advocate?
- A party can send it in its own name. If you add an advocate's details, the notice is drafted in the advocate's voice; the generator never invents an advocate.
- Is the sample text legal advice?
- No. It shows the structure a notice usually follows. Take legal advice for your situation, especially before filing a complaint.
