Equipment Assistance:
- The beneficiary will get financial assistance for the purchase of agricultural equipment/components such as Power Tillers, Rice Transplanter, Self-Propelled Machinery, Tractor/Power Tiller operated Implements/tools, Electric Motor operated, etc.
Eligibility
- The beneficiary should be a permanent resident of Gujarat State.
- Any farmer of the state belonging to the Scheduled Caste category (in 208 talukas where the SMAM scheme is not implemented) is eligible under this scheme.
- The beneficiary farmer has to purchase from the authorized dealer of the manufacturer included in the panel prepared for the purpose of price discovery announced by the department from time to time.

To avail the benefits of the scheme, the beneficiary has to apply online at the I-Khedut Portal (https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in/).

Read the instructions carefully, choose 'Yes' or 'No' for "Are you a registered applicant?", and click "Click to proceed".

Click "Click to Apply Newly" and submit a new application (use "Click to Update Application" to make corrections).

Click "Click to confirm the application" and confirm it. Only confirmed applications will be considered; take a printout for future reference.

- Contact the District Agriculture Officer of the concerned district (details on the iKhedut portal). Apply within the prescribed time; pre-approval for purchase is given per the application. If wrong/incomplete documents are uploaded, submit the correct documents to the concerned office within seven days.
