Benefits

Eligibility
- The applicant must be a resident of Bihar state and should be at least 25 years.
- The applicant must have passed the class 12th.
- The applicant must get admission to a course in an authorized institute.
- The applicant must complete the entire course.

How to apply

Visit https://www.7nishchay-yuvaupmission.bihar.gov.in/ and click the 'New Applicant Registration' button.

Fill in the details (name, email ID, mobile number, Aadhaar number, and OTP) and click 'Submit'. A successful registration message is displayed and the username and password are sent by email and SMS.

Log in using the username and password, fill in the details on the 'Personal Information Page' and click 'Submit'.

Select the 'BSCC' option from the drop-down list, click 'Apply', fill in the details on the BSCC form and submit it. A confirmation message and acknowledgement number are displayed.

The respective District Registration and Counseling Center (DRCC) schedules an appointment and informs the applicant by email/SMS. Visit the DRCC with self-attested documents and submit them to the Multi-Purpose Assistant (MPA) for verification.

After verification and loan sanction by the bank, the DRCC informs the applicant of the date to collect the 'Student Credit Card' and sanction letter. Visit the bank to complete documentation formalities; the bank disburses the loan and informs the DRCC. If the applicant has a degree of one level, then the same level of degree will not be covered under this scheme. This provision will not apply to technical or managerial courses. 7. In case of dropout by the beneficiaries for whatever reason, the balance amount of the loan from the time of dropout will not be made available to the institution or the student.
