About the Quotation Maker

A quotation tells a customer what you will supply, at what price, on what terms and for how long the offer stands. This generator produces a clean, numbered quotation with your business details, the customer's, line items with quantity and rate, GST at the rate you choose, a validity date and your terms — ready to print or save as a PDF from the browser.

Nothing is uploaded: the quotation is built entirely in your browser and is not stored on our servers. Fill it, print it, and keep your own copy. For a tax invoice after the order is confirmed, use the GST invoice generator, which follows the invoice rules under GST.

A quotation is an offer, not a contract, until the customer accepts it; state the validity period and any conditions (payment terms, delivery, taxes extra or inclusive) so acceptance is clear.

How to use it

  1. 1Fill your business and the customer's details.
  2. 2Add line items with description, quantity and rate; pick the GST rate.
  3. 3Set the quotation number, date, validity and terms.
  4. 4Print or save as PDF with the button at the bottom.

How this is calculated

Line amount = quantity × rate · Subtotal = Σ line amounts · GST = subtotal × rate · Total = subtotal + GST (rounded to the nearest rupee)

Frequently asked questions

Is a quotation legally binding?

A quotation is an invitation or an offer; it binds you once the customer accepts it within the validity period on the terms stated. Put the validity date and conditions on the quotation so there is no doubt about what was offered.

Should I show GST on a quotation?

Yes, if you are registered — customers compare inclusive prices. Show the rate and the amount, and say whether the total is inclusive or exclusive. Composition dealers must not charge GST on the customer and should say so.

Can I use this as an invoice?

No. A tax invoice has mandatory fields under the GST rules (GSTIN of both parties, HSN/SAC, place of supply, invoice series). Use the GST invoice generator once the order is confirmed.

Where is my data stored?

Nowhere on our side — the page runs in your browser. If you close the tab the quotation is gone, so print or save it before leaving.
